Pass stage one of foundation course: check!

Tue Nov 17, 2009, 11:40 AM
I'm free! For almost a week...and somehow i feel like i should be working still. I guess I've had so little free time lately that i can't adjust to not slaving over a sketchbook or two...oh how i slaved. I produced three, THREE sketchbooks in one term plus a learning journal, research file and a ridiculous amount of life drawing. Good news is i passed stage one and didn't get referred on anything (even though there was distinct lack of artist studies). Bad news is I've now got to deal with all the silly things i put off doing for ages now, like UCAS, an NUS card and open days.

Thinking about degrees has got me in a bit of a puzzle. I don't know enough places to begin with and a lot of open days have been booked up already. So I've got to wait till January or Feb, which is after the date when we apply. Anyway, I'm thinking about Falmouth, Camberwell or the easy option AUCB (where i am now). I'm strongly leaning towards Falmouth though. I really love the idea of living in Cornwall and I would be a train journey from St Ives as well (been going there since i was tiny and it's very high, maybe even top on my list of favourite places). I've started to place a lot of importance on the place I'd be studying in, realized how important it is this year especially because i really don't like Bournemouth. The campus is great, just everything outside of it kind of sucks, don't think i could cope with 3 more years of it.

On another note, I'll be putting up a lot more work soon as i have everything back and my camera has been replaced =)
